Since Ms. Miranda was sick last week, we were not able to meet on October 28th. However, we will be having our last meeting of this session tomorrow, November 4th at 4:00 pm. Cosplaying is greatly encouraged!! We'll also be playing a couple of rounds of DDR. Light refreshments and prizes will be provided!!

There are two weeks left of our Fall 2011 session!! This Friday we will be working on anime cels or editing a manga drawing through the computer. And don't forget to cosplay as your favorite anime or manga character next week for our end of session party! We'll be playing Otaku Bingo. Refreshments and prizes will be provided!!

Our first ever Cosplay Contest will take place in a couple of hours. Please remember to come dressed up as your favorite anime or manga character. We are in our sixth and final week of our fall session of our Otaku Club. We watched Kaze No Stigma and Stellvia courtesy of Funimation and Right Stuf! (Most of you thought Kaze... was ok but were happy to continue watching the ongoing soap opera that is Stellvia.) And last week we made anime cels which most of you enjoyed as well! :)

The last meeting of the Fall 2007 session of the Otaku Club took place last Friday, November 9th. You all gorged yourselves on California rolls and Pocky.  Your anime cells (some were unfinished) were given back to you. They have been posted to the web site. Konnichiwa everybody!! Just a reminder that your drawings for your anime cells are due tomorrow. If your interested in doing a cell next week, please bring in a black and white ink drawing on plain white paper. I will have it transferred onto a sheet of acetate. Arigato!!

Great news for all you otaku!!!!!! Sign-ups for our Fall Session will start on Monday, September 10th. You'll have a choice between two time slots: Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm and Friday afternoons from 4:00-5:00 pm. They will run for six weeks and start September 25th and 28th respectively!!!
