The last day of the winter session of the otaku club was Friday, March 28th, 2008. Thanks to all who participated!! Apologies go out to all of you also since I missed almost all of it (I was on sick leave). Registration for the fall session will begin at the end of September. Also, don't forget to register for the summer reading club, starting June 2nd. There will be a special cosplay contest over the summer so please check back for more info!!
Calling all manga and anime lovers!! Registration for the Otaku Club is still open with a few spaces left. So, if you haven't done so, please stop by or call to sign up today. The first meeting of the Winter 2008 session will be tomorrow, February 1st, at 4:00 pm. Please don't be late!!! We'll be watching Tsubasa, which the kind and groovy people at Funimation have sent us! Waku waku!!
Registration for the Winter 2008 session begins tomorrow January 18th!!! It will run from February 1st until March 7th from 4:00-5:00 pm. (There will be no meeting on February 29th.) You may register at the library or on the phone (610-820-2400 ext.3). Hurry! Space is limited!!
The last meeting of the Fall 2007 session of the Otaku Club took place last Friday, November 9th. You all gorged yourselves on California rolls and Pocky. Your anime cells (some were unfinished) were given back to you. They have been posted to the web site. Click here to see your anime cell! Konnichiwa everybody!! Just a reminder that your drawings for your anime cells are due tomorrow. If your interested in doing a cell next week, please bring in a black and white ink drawing on plain white paper. I will have it transferred onto a sheet of acetate. Arigato!!
Just a reminder to all you otaku: there will be NO meeting tomorrow, October 5th. Regular meetings will resume Friday, October 12th at 4 pm. See you all then!!

Attention otaku!! There's still some space left for our Friday meetings which will start this Friday and will run for six weeks from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Unfortunately, we haven't received any sign-ups for our Tuesday meeting so, that time slot has been cancelled. See you all Friday at 4 o'clock sharp!!!
Great news for all you otaku!!!!!! Sign-ups for our Fall Session will start on Monday, September 10th. You'll have a choice between two time slots: Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm and Friday afternoons from 4:00-5:00 pm. They will run for six weeks and start September 25th and 28th respectively!!! Attention all Otaku!! Sue Monroe from Community Services for Children, Inc will be here today at 4:00 pm to talk to you all about Otakon!!! She has a great PowerPoint presentation to show you all and she'll answer any questions you may have about attending the largest fan-based anime convention in the U.S.! Don't be late! Refreshments will be served.

NEWS FLASH: ADV films has sent us lots of anime episodes to watch! We'll also be making anime cells again. This time we will be designing a t-shirt from your ideas. The cost for the shirt will be $5. It's going to be fun!
