Homework Help at the Allentown Public Library 
 

The Allentown Public Library Homework Help Club:

Any child with a library card is eligible to become a member of the Allentown Public Library Homework Help Club. Members receive help with homework after school, as well as become eligible for prizes, art programs, and more. No appointment is necessary; just stop by the children’s room on the second floor.

Power Library is a great collection of online electronic resources available for free with your library card. Includes encyclopedias, "Contemporary Authors," newspaper archives, and much more!

Citation Guidelines

General -- Encyclopedias, portals, etc.

Math -- Ask Dr. Math, play math games, and more.

Social Studies -- 50 states, PA symbols, countries of the world.

Science -- Science fair projects, periodic table, simple machines.

YAHOOLIGANS -- The kids' version of Yahoo!

Tips for searching online -- Online guides to sorting out good information from bad and other tips for online searching.

BOOKFLIX - Scholastic BookFlix is a new online literacy resource that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction eBooks from Scholastic to build a love of reading and learning. (It normally requires a subscription but is free to our patrons!)
