Careers Online Resume Generator
- Just like the above resume builders, but much more customizable. A good tool for making a more professional looking resume, especially for people not comfortable using Microsoft Word's advanced formatting.

Microsoft Word Resume Templates
- Downloadable templates for Microsoft Word 2007. Easy to customize, but the drawback is that it can *not* be used on Word 2003; i.e. you need a computer that has Vista installed.

Resume-Help.org
- An informative site with plenty of tips, the biggest appeal may be the sample resumes and cover letters. While it does have links to 3rd party sites that charge for resume services, the large amount of free information makes this a very helpful site.

Monster Resume Tips

Purdue Resume Workshop
- Breaks down each section of a resume into a clickable link, giving you the what, how, and why of each part. Very helpful for people who want to make their own resume and want to make sure they include everything they need to.

Purdue Cover Letter Workshop
- The same as the resume link above, except with cover letters.

Job Search

Monster
- The most well-known nationwide job listing site. Use it as a basic job search site, or create an account to get access to other features such as the ability to post your resume for employers to find, and email notifications of new job postings that match your saved keyword searches.

Pennsylvania CareerLink Lehigh Valley
- An excellent all-around job hunting resource that also has job postings exclusive to the Lehigh Valley.

Lehigh Valley Craigslist
- While more and more large companies are posting job openings on Craigslist, where it really shines is the postings by small businesses and individuals. Its nature as an searchable online bulletin board is Craigslist's best and worst quality; while the postings are largely monitored only by the users, you will find jobs here that the larger sites simply won't have.

SnagAJob.com
- This site focuses on hourly wage jobs, mostly in the retail sector, sortable by zip code. Featured companies include such national names as AT&T, Pizza Hut, and Burger King. You can apply for the job directly on SnagAJob.com after creating a free account.

Indeed Job Search Engine
- A Google-type search engine that only looks at job postings, Indeed will take your parameters do go to each job website for you. The jobs are then posted with a snippet of information, and a link you can click that will take you straight to the job posting on the website it was found on.

Simply Hired Job Search Engine
- Exact same setup as Indeed, and while the results you get here are mostly redundant after an Indeed search, it will have some results Indeed did not display (and vice versa).

TheCanned Job Board Directory
- While TheCanned has no job postings itself, it does have a directory of 175+ job posting websites. The majority are very industry specific (jobs in sports, ESL jobs, teach English overseas) but the sheer number of links plus the few general websites (retail job postings, education) make it a very helpful resource.

USAjobs Federal Job Listings
- A government funded website that has postings of jobs in the government and military. While the majority may require special certification or training for an applicant to be eligible, these postings cannot be found anywhere else.
