Current available positions:

JOB#411401 Technical Services Assistant/Circulation Clerk II (FT)

The duties of this full time position (35 hours per week) are divided between the circulation and
technical services departments. Technical Services responsibilities concern the management of
materials coming into the library, including processing invoices, preparing items for cataloging, ordering replacement items, and the general preparation of materials for circulation. Circulation-related duties include checking in and checking out materials, issuing library cards, and shelving materials when necessary.

This position includes some night and weekend (Saturday) hours. Also included are paid holidays,
generous allowances for personal and vacation time, excellent health and retirement benefits and the
option of employee-paid eye and dental benefits. Salary range for this position is $26K to $30K per year, contingent upon education and experience.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Excellent computer skills
• Customer Service experience and the ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of library
users and staff
• Experience working in libraries and with integrated library software systems, preferably
Innovative Interfaces Inc.’s Millennium
• Second Language, preferably Spanish, a plus
