PRESCHOOL STORYTIME
"Storytime" is a weekly half hour program of picture books, songs, fingerplays, rhymes and other activities, designed to introduce your 3-5 year old child to the library and the world of stories. Children of parents who have an Allentown Public Library card are eligible. The child must be 3 by the first session, and not enrolled in kindergarten. Parents are asked to remain in the library during the program, but do not sit with the children.

Wednesdays: 10:00-10:30 AM
Wednesdays: 7:15-7:45 PM
Thursdays: 2:00 – 2:30 PM
This 6-week series of half hour programs is for two-year-olds. Children must be 2 years old by the beginning of the sessions. Each child is accompanied by an adult who sits with the child. Siblings may not attend. The program features puppets, songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and short picture books.
Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:00 PM
Fridays 10:15 - 10:45 AM
This is a new program for children from birth to age 2 and their caregivers. It is a fun opportunity to prepare your child for literacy and welcome them to the library. We will read books, sing songs, and do fingerplays while your child feels snug and secure on your lap. A blog updated weekly lists the songs, stories, etc. performed each week so that parents can reinforce the learning from their home computers should they choose. (A home computer is by no means a requirement to participate in the fun!)
Wednesdays 5:45 - 6:15 PM
Fridays 9:30 - 10:00 AM
