Youth Services Space & Programs

We have made some amazing changes to the Second Floor!

Check out the new Information Desk in the Youth Services department, and visit our cozy reading nooks with new “moon chair” seating. Don’t worry, we still have the “M&M chairs” that some patrons remember from their own childhoods!

During our Summer Reading “Unearth a Story” Program in 2026, we featured many dinosaurs on top of our bookcases! Some were (roughly) life-sized, while others were a bit smaller than they were in the real world.

Thanks to Astound and SPUN Design for making our new STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) truly amazing! We do programs in this space and it also houses our Library of Things.
