Programs for Toddlers and Preschoolers (about 5 & under)

We offer various programs for our youngest friends and their caregivers! Check the calendar for exact dates. We do much of our programming year-round, but do take breaks from time to time.

No registration is required to attend these programs, but we do appreciate a “heads-up” if a daycare or large group is coming so we have enough supplies!

Music Mondays!	Story times!	Art Exploration!
Mondays, 10 – 10:30 am	Thursdays, 10 – 10:30 am (toddler) Saturdays, 10 – 10:30 am (family) some Thursdays evenings, 6:30 – 7 pm (family)	Fridays, 10 – 10:30 am
Dance, sing, and play with voices and instruments!	Join us for picture books, songs, finger plays, rhymes and other age appropriate activities designed to encourage a love of reading and learning. They are often followed by a craft activity.	Experience creativity through a variety of art media such as paint, clay, markers, chalk and more!

Sometimes we have special guests for our storytimes, such as the Mayor of Allentown, a fire truck, many Princesses and other fabulous visitors! Check the calendar for dates and details.

Fun Under Four!

At certain times of the year, we offer Fun Under Four, a play-based, multi-week program for children 4 and under and their caregivers. Each week, members of the community join us to offer information on topics that may include nutrition, speech & language, child development, movement & music, and literacy.

The Youth Services Department has a play area that is available for children and their families. It has a kitchen area, toys, puzzles, games, and more. There are also games and activities for older children nearby.
