We offer Reading Challenges for kids and adults all year long though Beanstack! Check in the Youth Services Department for details, including activities and incentives. Some challenges are for all ages and will be available seasonally. Click below to see any current ones.

Beanstack Reading Challenges

We have a special challenge just for our youngest friends and encourage families to read 1,000 books together before a child starts kindergarten. It’s easy for families of kindergarteners and younger ages to track what they read and we will offer prizes along the way.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2026 summer reading challenge, Unearth a Story! We had a great summer and gave away lots of fabulous prizes. We have contacted everyone who won a basket. Please pick up by August 31 or we will do additional drawing(s).
