  • Socrates Café
    Starts: 10:30 am
    Ends: December 4, 2019 - 12:00 pm
Description: CAUTION: This program may cause spontaneous laughter and fun. Walk-ins are most welcome.

At each meet up, this group considers a question of the day. Attendees may opt to submit an anonymous question of their own. Everyone votes on submitted questions and the most popular one becomes the topic of that meet up.

Adults are encouraged to listen to each others ideas and respond with their own thoughts on the topic. You'll quickly learn that one question often leads to many others so you never know where it might lead.

This program has grown since its inception at APL on October 6, 2018. We've had participants from all walks of life, ages 22-85, about evenly split between genders, representing a variety of religions, nationalities, race and ideology. There have never been less than five participants on a single day, and as many as twelve. If everyone who has ever attended returns for a single day, we'll have 24 people. We can't wait to meet you and welcome you into the Allentown area's only Socrates Café.
