We are excited to reinstate the Teen Advisory Board (TAB)!

Scroll below to see TAB updates and how you can get involved! We are looking for Teens to join the TAB and volunteer at the library in a variety of ways. They include the Kickoff Color Carnival on June 7, STEM programs, Art programs, Nature programs, planning Young Adult events, Wicked/Wizard of Oz event July 12, craft prep, social media, book reviews, and more!

May 31: We continued the prep for the Carnival on June 7, by painting the cornhole boxes, setting up photo booths, and planning the community art murals. We picked assignments for the Carnival and updated in Sign Up Genius as needed. Thanks to everyone for all your help! Feel free to stop by the library any time to finish some of the projects!

The shirts look great! Thank you to everyone who made their own and extras for other volunteers. This will be the “uniform” for the Carnival on June 7, from 12 – 3. We are still looking for teens to help with games, art activities, face painting, and more!

May 3: 1st meeting. We talked about the role of the Board and jumped right into planning some activities.
